I run a zombie panic:source server and it refuses to display in any color other than grey for the chat adverts.

its a hl2dm mod so its not that advanced in additional colors and whatnot, but I was wondering how I could get it to display adverts in the console/server chat color (yellow) as currently they get ignored because they are just grey.

im not a coder so the more basic the explanation the better

suggestion

setting the advert system up to trigger certain adverts when certain things happen in game or that certain adverts become active when conditions are met?

eg:
when player numbers in server are below X ammount activate adverts with a certain advert flag or marker?

when a certain number of players are alive play X advert

on player join, run welcome advert on that client - Welcome to <yourserverhere> or something

or any number of other useful events like on player death, play advert to that player - Aww you died or something

Maybe HL2DM will come to the new engine with the new colors after CSS since thats all thats left but hasnt been worked on in ages.

Hi @Tsunami,

i mean that the advertisment is only shown to dead peoble and are not alive.
So that the living one are not being disturbed from the advert.

I am getting no errors when loading the plugin but none of the {COLOURS} are doing anything and all text is white and '{BLUE}' is showing in the message.

example being
{
"type" "S"
"text" "{BLUE}Type !servers to be redirected to the EvilTwin's or our TF2 server #2"
}

Also top messages have a really short length limit?

YOu should have a space in front and in the back of the collor

Those colors only work for T messages, S only has {DEFAULT}, {TEAM}, {GREEN} and {LIGHTGREEN}. And yes, T messages are pretty short, this is obviously a limit of the game.
