Apparently, one of our servers has been targeted by MyG0t members. I'm banning them as fast as I can, but they seem to hit the server when there are no admins around, and effectively clear the server out each time.

In addition, many of these guys show back up with new steam accounts after a ban (at least they have the same screen name).

Is there anyone with a masterfile of MyG0t members I can add to our bans database? If not, any suggestion for dealing with these idiots?

KAC probably has them in the global banlist.

I've found SourceBans to be really really useful in this case. Sometimes I do have trouble getting into my own servers, and there's quite a few of them. So, SourceBans has an option called KickIt, so you can add a ban (just get a Steam ID and fill out the fields) and it'll kick them right there on the spot.

do their IP addresses also change when they come back?

do their steamids look like they are from a cafe(easiest method is to see if they all start with a 7)

do they actually have their tag formatted in their name the normal way? "[myg0t]"

myg0t are very proud of their tags and display them with honor. I'm sure they all have dynamic IP's as most of the providers use this method. Just ban the myg0t name with a plugin, its the easiet way.

in my experience its not that simple,

i've seen [t0gym] and tons of other variations,

adding the tag in later on,

normal name, but advertising through chat or spray
