How do you think the streak should be managed in regards to teamplay, and especially when going from a round of regular GunGame to a round of teamplay GunGame?

My original plan has been that if you win a regular round, it adds to your streak, or if you are on the winning team of a teamplay round, it adds to your streak. But this means in a teamplay round, 16 players could get credit towards a streak, and then it might switch over to regular mode (if the server is so configured) then those 16 players hope have to fight for that single winner's spot to continue their respective streaks. I think this is fine, but I was wondering if you had any strong feelings one way or the other.

I should also mention that I'm adding an option to split up the stats entirely into regular mode and teamplay mode, so that you have one set of wins/points for regular and an entirely different set of wins/points for teamplay. In this case, the streaks will be tracked separately as well.

I agree 100% with the first thing. A win is a win, whether its team play or regular. This will make people want to stay after their team wins in GG, cuz everyone is going to want to streak up.

Do you think that the record streak should be able to be viewed anywhere except for the MOTD?

The MOTD will probably display the record streak, as in your example ("All-Time Server Streak: 13 by U-571"). But do you think that the record should be viewable elsewhere as well; and if so, where?

I guess the only places would be in the MOTD after somebody wins.

And perhaps make an extra thing with '!streaks' and you can view the list of names with their record streaks, kinda like '!top10' or something along those lines.

Yes, I've finished up work on the streaks. I might be able to post a screenshot of how it looks later. Right now I'm working on the integrated SQL support.
