It was more for 2inspyr since he wanted a version without a MOTD anyway. I'll probably add a cvar to control it like he suggested, but I want to see if this is what is causing the lag. Since you are experiencing the same lag you can try it if you'd like. If this is the cause of the lag then I'll figure out a better way to do the MOTD.

thanks sorry i havent been back to test, ive been pretty flat out last few days, ill test the version you posted for me today, and ill let you know how it goes in a few hours after a bit of use as i have a quite high traffic GG server.

ok so after about 10 hrs of testing the plugin you re-made for me it seems its not the MOTD winner page thats lagging the server. Its hard to explain, its kind of like someone has paused the server from the amxx menu for about 15-20 seconds, everything just stops.

somthing else i had thought of apart from the cvar to enable or disable the winner MOTD, was the gun order per map. I have some knifing maps which i thought might be a bit different to other server to have knife only maps.

say 5 levels of 20 knife kills (in teamplay mode) so id need to beable to get gg_weapon_order to reset in a map config using amxmodx's per map config setup. So far i can get what i need to change per map, apart from gg_weapon_order and gg_knife_pro. is there any way id beable to change them after the plugin has loaded???

2inspyr: Did you use the old beta which had multi-mod support (2.00 beta 3), and if so, was there the same end-game lag that is in this beta? Also, does the lag happen right before or right after the MOTD is shown (when you still had it)? It would be helpful to me if you would share your server's IP so I could see this first-hand.

no i didnt use the other betas, i went straight from the stable release to 2.10.

as soon as someone gets the last knife, everyone stops, MOTD pops up, endgame sound plays, then 15-20 secs later, you kinda stop "glitching" so to speak. Im pretty sure in the other version i had when the game finished it just changed maps.

go check it out, its easily the most popular GG teamplay mod server in aus, which is why i really need to get it sorted out, its usually got people in it around the clock, although it might be a bit quiet now as ive just changed the server port. I not only run the server, I am the head network admin of Xtreme Gaming(www.xtremegaming.com.au) so i have access to the boxes and no limit to beta tests and things you may want me 2 have a play with.
