Is it possible to disable "invalid name or chat characters." check in Client Protection module? I don't need it and a few players on mine server have problem with it.

On the other way I need "name change spam" activated to kick that stupid cheaters with that cheat.

That's a bad idea because it will get people with blank names to troll your server.

SMAC is an open source project so you're free to change that code and recompile.

I don't know what I need to change ;/

And I never see people with blank names on mine server.

But now ppl with special chars like ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ is kicked.

I was under the impression SMAC only kicks for whitespace characters.

Further, I didn't get kicked for this name. Are you sure SMAC is doing the kicking?

It simply needs to be recompiled against the updated core.inc. An update will be released later in the day.
