Thats impossible, Valve strictly forbade doing that. This works with the Valve update that allowed the OPTION to be redirected, freedom to the players is their goal.

Which part of "impossible" didn't you understand?

Write a complaint to valve - if they follow your suggestion, I will implement it.

Can't you do it by making the client execute "connect xxxxx:27015" ?

haha they wont change it, they worked hard enough to turn it off. They arent about to change their hard work so servers can redirect players. That command isnt possible, their whole goal is to give players an option to connect instead of a server operator forcing them to connect. You can email valve but they arent working on CS other than changing it over to the orange box, heck GMOD was changed over to it the other day. CSS is next...

I know, hence why i added teh "highlight below here". It was a joke.

Still ... you never know ... MS might buy them out ...

But back on topic and back to my last comment about redirection; how about the plugin executes on every player that tries to connect the command "connect IP:PORT". It works in client exec, it should be possible via the plugin.

The plugin cannot exec the connect command on the player, its a special redirect pass through that valve added. Im not a coder but know this from past reserved slots.

I am not sure when you tried it with "client exec" but that seems to be some times ago.
