When ingame, if someone says to you whats your rates... what does this mean, i do know at one time but i forgot ...

I know 1 of my rates are on 20000, dont know what its called thou..

Can some explian the rates thing plz ??

also what should the rates be set to ??

I believe it's in net_graph (Not sure if its 1,2 or whatever)

Just type it in console...

cl_rate

Then it will return it...
"cl_rate" "480000000##" or whatever the number is.

It's a matter of personal preference and computer specs.

Here's a good generic set of numbers that work on any computer and increase preformance %75 of the time.(precentile is guestimated)

cl_cmdrate 50;cl_updaterate 50;rate 35000

copy and paste that into your console directly

cl_updaterate 101
rate 25000
ex_interp 0.01

Unless it works for you, Ignore post #9, those rates tend to be too high for most users
