yeah i did that already but it says forbidden to access to the server. 404 error comes out how do I go about it .

On your ftp make a folder in public_html called fastdl so it's like this public_html/fastdl/

To access that folder you go to http://xcon.branzone.com/fastdl/ and that is what you set the sv_downloadurl command for.

It should be Cstrike folder.

Exactly the dir structure of your regular game folders.

Example:
www.mypage.com/1.6/cstrike/models
www.mypage.com/game/cstrike/sprites

Okay this is how you do it.

Setting up

- in the public_html make a folder, anyname. (Use this if you want to keep your files safe)
- then inside your folder put the name of your mod
Example mods;
cstrike - cs 1.6
czero - condition zero
- inside your mod folder you put another folder for the name of the ent.
Examples;
models - you put models here
maps - maps here
sprites - sprites here
sounds - sounds here
- Open your server.cfg and add these cvars

sv_downloadurl "www.yourwebsite/yourcustomnamedfolder/modname"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1

- Restart your server, and your ready to go!

- the mp3 folder probably should be in the sounds folder, if not see how it was set up in the download file. do exactly as it was there, example:

in the download file it says, sounds/mp3/yourmp3
then do the same in your FTP make a folder called mp3 in the sounds folder then upload your mp3 files to your mp3 folder.

Hey datwinkle did you see my server.cfg floating around here and get that?

Most people dont have allowupload or download, I recently put it in cause we were having issues, but that made it work just fine

A question! Is there some way you can upload something new to the hosting thru the server? Like upload a map as if it were a player?

If you put a new map on the server it uiploads it to the hosting so you dont have to use ftp.

If there isn't can it be made as an amxx plugin?

hi,

i try to use this stuff but don't work for me.

I uploaded de_dust2002.bsp to "http://balkan-server.com/cstrike/maps/"

i set chmod 777 to all this maps and files.

then i set sv_downloadurl "http://balkan-server.com/cstrike" sv_allowdownload 1, sv_allowupload 1.

When i go on server i have the same speed and everythink is the same, but when i download from firefox i downloading with 2mb/s, so i think that this stuff don't work for me.

any ideas?
