I've recently even bought the HLSW Mobile app which also stopped working. I've contacted their team and got the following message:

Stefan R. <*********@hlsw.org>         19 Apr         to Pilger


Currently our service is offline, we working on a fix and a new version.

about a week or so ago I started up the android app (the free version tho) and saw it wouldnt let me add my server to it so I definitely wasnt going to get the paid for version

That's quite interesting, I had always assumed HLSW was a dead project, so nice to see some kind of response.

Yeah its a great program but dead for at least 2 year, no new versions. Even if there servers where online.

It's been a while since they sent their reply and nothing changed. I'm not sure they'll fix anything at all.

The problem seems to be related to their logging system on their end, so I guess solving the app problem with solve the desktop software as well.

There could be an open source alternative to this. I'm sure it would be used by many people.
