Ok so the correct IP should already be entered, it's just a matter of giving it permission to execute.

This is what I have now in my server.cfg

That's the ip:port i see when I am inside the web server.
I'm not seeing any new error logs in the scripts log folder so the permission changes must be allowing it to run hlstats yet I still see 0/0 players

Sorry, where would those be?

In the folder where run_hlstats is located, there is a logs folder, in there are the logs for the daemon

That is in my scripts folder above my domain and it has a logs folder with two separate logs both showing the same entry :

./run_hlstats: line 186: ./hlstats.pl: Permission denied

I already fixed this I think because I set the permissions then restarted everything, also the latest log was from the 16th.

Doesn't that command in the cronjob start it automatically?

It does if the permissions are correct.

If you have access to SSH, log in and manually try to execute the script ./hlstats.pl (it will take over your screen, so give it about 5 minutes, then kill it with Ctrl+C) and then show us what it has displayed
