Pretty sure it's a "very basic" plugin for a reason.

This plugin doesnt work, well I cant get it to work anyway. Ive installed it with a vanilla install of the latest souremod. Nothing seems to happen. Ive checked the plugin's configs, all seem ok and were successfully created when I started the server.

Has anyone ran this since the last few updates this summer ( 2011 ) ?

Im trying to run it on normal CS Source with sourcemod-1.3.7 on Linux

Any thoughts would be great, or suggestions of a different high ping kicker.

Working fine here. Maybe You should use the real latest SourceMod, which actually is v.1.3.8?

Is there anyway to make this use 10 min steamid bans instead of kicks? Or another plugin that autobans people for simply ignoring kicks and coming right back?

The problem is people who are kicked immediately reconnect to my server and play until they are kick for high ping again and repeat that over and over. To make up for this i've had to tweak the setting to be so aggressive with kicks that they start annoying players with the occasional ping spike and not legitimate high ping players.

This plugin is working fine for me and I'm running a Linux server too, probably You're doing something wrong or not doing something (i.e. recompiling the plugin under the latest SM) ;]

Nope. Made no difference mate.

Im running now :

MetaMod:Source v1.8.7V, EventScripts v2.1.1.370, SourceMod v1.3.8 on a Linux CS Source server.

Its not creating the config file.

I dont have any issues with any other mods before, just cant seem to get this one to run from scratch.

Are you sure there is nothing else that needs to be done, apart from compiling it and moving that compiled smx to the plugins dir?

Ive changed map and also tried restarting the server... no config file in css/cstrike/cfg/souremod for this plugin.

Strange. Is there no console command we have to type or can type to show its installed or executed?

//EDIT. It creates the config file with a server not running eventscripts... So there is a problem / conflict with this plugin. I tried it on another server I have, but I need it to work on the server with Eventscripts, ( gungame ) so I guess I'll have to use another plugin.

Darn.

@Pinkfloyd , EventScript conflict SourceMod (yea, yea, someone say now it works great).
Another could be your Linux server permissions, there few users with same problem.
Plugin not generate automatically config file when should be.
Don't know how they get it work.
