is there a script for the database to be set up for the mysql plugin? I've been running amx x for awhile and am interrested in using the MySQL side of it.

Use phpmyadmin (www.phpmyadmin.com), create a db named "admins" then add "auth" "password" "flags" "access" as tables (varchar 30).

As i saw, this isn't documented at all, figured it out by reading the sma's.
But it works for me.

I use phpmyadmin for my websites and such. Shouldn't be a problem. Just figure that someone would have a sql script for auto install or something. Thanks

It does it automagically. Just set up a database, it creates the tables by itself

if I already have a p.stats2 database do I need to start another for this or can i connect to stats one?

If possible create a new Data Base called ie. amxmodx or just amx.
Then it is easier to administrate your database.
You then use that new data base to all amxmodx related
