The stable branch will work as if steam ids never got changed. The dev branch, they are thinking to probably use Steam64? or something that wouldn't break with changes like this.

Until next month when Valve changes everything to like Steam128 or GUID's or some crap. But, maybe I am a pessimist.

I would suggest adding to core.cfg switch for new/old steamids.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, the latest 1.6 snapshots (4558) should revert the behavior of this SteamID change with regards to how SourceMod operates.

Things such as the `status` command and game logging will, however, be unaffected and will still display the [U:xxx] SteamIDs.
