This new plugin lets everyone on the server know who the admin is at a glance.

When the admin joins the Terrorist side he will become a hostage. Hide with the hostages and scare the CT side - freak out your teammates.

When the admin joins the CT side he becomes the VIP. Respect the admin!

1) v.99 - Forked from whitemikes admin model plugin
2) v.991 - Replaced chicken with hostage model on the T side.

INSTALLATION
1) Download the plugin
2) Place 'adminhostagevip.amxx' in 'cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins'
3) Add a line in 'configs/plugins.ini' containing 'adminhostagevip.amxx'
4) Copy the 'hostage.mdl' from the cstrike/models folder into 'cstrike/models/player/hostage folder
5) -- Help me lower the hostage code so he walks on the ground
6) -- Visit tfc.darthvader.tv and enjoy your new plugin!

NOTE:
Sometimes the admin needs to die once before he gets the new model

The hostage model is walking about 2 feet off the ground.
Can anyone help me recenter him to walk on the ground?
Also he doesn't hold his weapons correctly - they just float in front of him.

It might have something to do with the fact that the vip model was only designed to hold a pistol and the hostage model wasn't designed to hold any weapons

The hostage model is NOT designed to move like a player...
You could use tree.mdl...would be the same effect...but you could hide everywhere *lol*

Btw.: i think the VIP model can hold a weapon but not the hostage...

Good try, but this is just a lil out their. Besides the fact that its not 100% solid. Their are good model plugins out their, althought they require a download, theirs a reason for it

So does anyone know how to lower the center of the model by 2 feet so the hostage admin walks on the ground instead of above it? I posted this here for help - not claiming it is actually finished.

Or can anyone help me re-skin a model with hostage skin? Or tell me which tools to do this?

I tried but the hostage skins are funny and didn't fit on the player models. Any help would be great!

Just so you can know next time (not trying to be rude), but the Scripting Help board is typically where people go when they need help with their code. Plugins that go in the New Plugin Submissions board are ones that are completed, tested, and ready for the public to use. [/off-topic]


Sorry, I do have a plugin that I made to lower someone, but I can't find it. You can always look at the source code for the amx_bury plugins.
