I think what we really need is someone to create a voicepack mod like UnrealTournament has for kill taunts.

Downloaded quakesounds from startpost, and on CS:GO having this:
*quake/standard/firstblood.mp3 not precached

Seems like it is not only happened to me. I found little workaround - to get sounds work you need to change map e.g. map de_dust, then sounds will be precached. But is anyone fixed this for CS:GO ?

Yeah it is strange, at least it works for me. i found some more info and it states that problem in core not in plugin.
UPD.
I found quakesounds plugin which has no above mentioned problem. Checked and it works flawlessly on CS:GO - no need to restart map
sm_quakesounds.cfg (with russian comments) should be placed in \csgo\cfg\sourcemod

Im using this plugin and it works since months. the only thing which does not work is my join sound! Any fix for that?

Is the headshot sound's priority still impossible to lower? Hat trick and headhunter don't play at all since they're supposed to come from headshots, and killstreak sounds are rare because of it.

I just updated the smx and sp for fun but the joinsound still doesn't work for me! any idea why?

hm, i tested the joinsound myself and it worked, ill test again and make sure it wasnt just luck

Also make sure you update the plugin by restarting the server after uploading the new files, otherwise it can cause cache issues
