OK i was downloading a blockmaker and amx and Hide-n-Seek mod and i added it to my server dedicated but every time i start it up. i try to join it and it say's "STEAM validation rejected! what does that mean and how do i fix it!

This is not a yes/no, change this cvar kind of problem.

As the 4th result. Easy to spot in the MASSIVE 2 PAGES OF RESULTS! by it's title. Steam Validation Rejected!

And the suggestions listed on that page, that was found via search, by searching for the OP's error message, managed to locate another user with the same problem and some initial troubleshooting had already been suggested.

I don't see why people need to use the boards as an manual response search system when these questions have been asked and the answers are more than likely already here.

Who said the only search option was this forums? It is in the rules to search before posting. This is a general error that can easily be solved by searching first.

hey i got this too and i make in dedicated server/strike new notepad called steam_appid
and then open it and type 10
save it and test your seerverr
