would be great if you could replace tf2itemsinfo with Tf2 Item DB. TF2ItemsInfo is crashing WAY too often if you dont change the map at all aka give it a chance to reload

Hi! I installed this on my new server (Nov. 20th 2015) and it works great, makes everyone happy, there are some funky glitches with spy cloaking as mentioned and several effects simply do not appear, but we're ok with that.

My question is--what is the use for the menu that shows up after the main menu but before the players + unusuals list? It lists weapon quality:

1. normal
2. rarity 1
3. vintage

etc., etc.

I'm sorry if this has been answered, I read up to page 16 but didn't have time to read 10 more pages.

When testing on my own soda popper, which is a specialized killstreak, I can pick 'normal' and have the particles work fine.

(Also, is there a way for me to see the unusual effect in first-person viewmodel or only through HUD? Not as important. Just wondering.)

No ! Unsual Effects can be only view in third person. Btw it will be difficult to play with your weapon on fire on your screen, no ?

There is something wrong with Tf2ItemInfo, not my plugin. Be sure that you have all files, and the version I linked in the first post.

For the next version of this plugin, I think I will replace Tf2ItemInfo by another plugin ...

Yes, know it. I have reuploaded all files to my server and it still not works.
Maybe someone who have this plugin working can give me versions of their SM, TF2Items, MM and etc.

tf2itemsinfo loves to crash in general reloading crashed plugins might fix your problem i think there was also a tf2itemsinfo reloading plugin somewhere however i cant recommend that it will lag the server

I've seen the alternative of TF2Items already - https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=255885, so just waiting when this plugin will be rewriten to use TF2ItemDB.

well tf2itemsinfo is running worse and worse after each update since its using a lot ressorces this could also crash your server
