thanks bl4nk for making this an approved plugin.

would it possible to have a method of turning it off/on in the menu or having a command to use in game to turn it off (or am i being stupid and sm_deathnotice_mode 0 would work?)

Would it be possible to instead of displaying the kill message in the chat are to display it in a sm_tsay type message box and allow only about 4 or 5 kill messages to be displayed on the screen at one instance?

Yup, setting it to 0 should disable the messages.

I believe tsay only supports one line.

Please can you tell me in what folders i have to copy the "deathnotice.smx" and what file i have to edit with the entry "sm_deathnotice_mode 3"?

I know its been some time since anyone has posted in here but I wanted to ask. Is there still no way of finding out what the chat color codes are for insurgency.

I am haveing problems getting this plugin to work properly. i have done everything it says. it works, to a point, but no matter what the config is it only shows admins who killd who. i have deleted it and redownloaded it and its still not working my insurgency server guy told me to contact the maker. but...
sm_deathnotice_mode 3 for mine only shows admins, and i tried 1, 2 and its the same thing.. any help please? im bout to give up on hosting this insurgency server.
