Hi, I have an L4D2 server. Without being tied to the CPU of the srcds_linux process, sv and var become unstable and from time to time server have freezes. When tied to the CPU via taskset, the server works more stable and sv & var become stable and freezes are not observed. But I would like the process to run through the cores, i.e. for the system linux scheluder to distribute the load. I noticed that if the situation is as in screenshot 1, then the server works worse. So, how can I make the srcds_linux process use both cores (i.e. jump from one to the other as it is loaded), but at the same time the threads of this process also sit on the same core that uses the main process, as in the screenshot 2 (it is bound through the taskset, respectively, the process and its threads will not sit on another core).
