That was my original question..... where do the model files go on the server.

checked the server.cfg and sv_pure = 0

Also, I have the parachute mod running perfectly, which downloads materials and models to the clients without problems.

Depends on the files and it's structure , most packages containing the right structure so you only have to extract them and upload ......

is this the correct location for the material & model files ?
Can someone look at the picture of the server directory structure above and confirm that the model files are in the correct place on the server ?

I have created sm_skinchooser sets (sm_skinchooser_StarWars, sm_skinshooser_LOTR, sm_skinchooser_Admins etc)
When I make one of them the default, the skins no longer show on my client?
Is there a limit to the number of skins, skinshooser can handle?
Is there a way to control and choose "Skin Sets?"
This was working for the Lord of the Rings Skins a week ago, but when I switched back from the Star Wars skins, all of my models on my client are now invisible, and the game quickly crashes on my PC, although the server continues to run with those skin sets selected?

I can help, checkout the skins here: http://css.gamebanana.com/skins
Let me know what ones you would like, I have created a bunch of skin.ini files for some of the girl combat skins already. My Steam name is TheBelizean, drop me a line and I can help out.
Here are screenshots from my Server to give you an idea: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Blakes7/screenshots/

Cheers, Blakes7

How to Build Skins.ini files:

Download the skins folder to your PC
Open the models/player/ directory create a new directory called "batman" or whatever model you have, (if one does not exist) and move all the config files into there .mdl, .phy, .vtx, .etc. (This avoids overwriting the existing files on your server)
Open CMD prompt.
cd .. to the materials and models directory
Run the command dir /s /b > skins.txt
Next open skins.txt file with notepad and use the replace command to delete the starting path "C:\temp\etc" and replace with empty. Bingo!

Cheers,

Blakes 7
