We ran a server vote to initiate gravity to 450.
At the end of the map a player was banned for 'SMAC: ConVar sv_gravity violation'

im pretty sure he is not violating any cvars, however i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Is it possible there might be a glitch in the system check?

Either way posting to let everyone of this instance and hopefully find out if this is a glitch, problem, or actual hacker.

I'm thinking about removing this gravity check as it's not the first time I've heard about problems with it. Edit: done.

I have been used to use kac earlier. The reason gravity check was added i beleve was that most cheats "forget" about that cvar.

So earlier you could as server admin (in mid game) change gravity a bit.. so little that noone notices it. And bam kac katched some cheaters more.
