Hmm. Try deleting the file from your cstrike/sprites folder... might be an old unfixed version u have there?

Your sprites are rotating because they are not fixed. See the first post for how to fix a sprite. Please rename your new fixed sprite, don't use the same file name as the rotating sprite.

@reoparker

I understand your frustration, but patience is always appreciated.

10752 is width * height. For example, 256 * 42. Larger sprites may or may not crash your server. It's not clear to me why this happens.

I have not found a really great program for creating HL sprites. They all seem to have some bugs. Sometimes large sprites are created successfully, sometimes not.

You are right on many things here... but also less correct on other things...

First of all - I usually make large sprites with the size 700 * 200 - works to 100%. Never any problems with this size. Allthough - never make the sprites bigger than this as that will f**k things up.

Second of all - sprite explorer works perfectly.

Third and last - Why can't he use sprites with the same name as the last one? Removing the false sprite from your own cstrike/sprites folder will take care of the problem with not seeing the difference of the new sprite.

the only problem with not changing names of the sprite would be if someone else has entered the server and downloaded the bad sprite....
