Hey all, I know this isn't the right place for it, but I was just wondering this...

I have a wireless network in my house, and the main router is on the ground floor, however the important machines are on the second floor.

I was considering getting this, and plug all the comps on the second floor into it, along with the printer.

The only thing I'm not sure about is whether it would actually work how I want it to, and basically join the network together and virtually be like ethernet, other than the wireless link between the bridge and router.

Also this would solve my problems of having to do ndiswrapper every time I want to try to run Linux on any machine.

Oh, and on a side note my server is run on the second floor wirelessly. If I plugged it into a bridge would the ports forwarded remain intact?

PS Sorry if this seems vague, I'm doing this quickly as I have to go and wanted people to read it while I'm gone
