Forum Post Title Not Updating? 12345

Having a weird problem that I can't seem to resolve, that's related to the forums not updating a post title.

When i was initially updating the post, the forums was running under heavy load and I've got a feeling the white page timeout might have caused it. On the main Radio thread - The post title is still showing the old one, no matter what I change and I can't seem to fix it (But whenever I go in to edit, it will always display the new one).

Has anyone had this issue and found a work-around for it?

I notice if I..

1. Click edit
2. Click advanced
3. Change title
4. Click preview

The updated title appears in the preview while the title has reset in the textbox.

I get the updated title but then it always saves as the old one. Was thinking maybe a new post applies the updated title but I honestly have no idea.

It always used to save the updated title, even when just changing the initial post.

Seems to work fine here - try a clean browser profile with no addons or a different browser.

Just tested Edge with nothing installed and still having the same problem, usually use Firefox.

Strange thing is - when I go to edit the base post, still shows the new title but never appears to apply it.

I've edit the thread title, it indeed didn't want to take effect via editing the OP's "subject" - no idea why.

Ping this thread if it happens again and I'll take a deeper look, something probably just went wonky because they didn't match and then it got stuck.

Thanks asherkin - Think it was releated to the forum timing out and getting a blank white page, then refreshing a couple of times to apply the POST data.

Yep, everything is working here. Think the Radio thread just got borked when the servers was lagging.
