In the video you ran right through a smoke with out getting the gray overlay...
Does this plugin break that?

(also sv_infinite_ammo 1 for the video..)

Why?

Why not just hook when the temp particle effect is being deployed for the smoke grenade and remove it and create your own, no need o remove the smoke grenade projectile. Misunderstood how this was working.

This is a beta plugin just to test the customs .pcf and all my video settings are low. So for the overlay I don't know but I'm using all the same particles.
When I begin a plugin I have a model and after I finish my plugin to a version stable I take off all useless functions and try to avoid all whitespaces.

I tried without removing the projectile and it's doesn't work I can see the old particle.
AddTempEntHook I have to hook and unhook everytime a smoke is detonated why? Never saw a plugin doing this it should have a reason. Also Zephyrus use the AddTempEntHook like that.

But From you Mitchell all your suggestion can help me to progress. I'm not from SP language at base.

Seems to me that overlay it's a anothers particles made for the screen. That why you need to delete the projectile.
explosion_screen_smokegrenade_new is the particle name.
I tried one time to make a screen particle effect without success.

installed the plugin but now when we throw grenades and they pop there isnt any smoke at all.

Cause you did something wrong. .pcf need to be placed on the server and fastdl too. Look your console to see erors.

Added to Fast DL too. Still no smoke.

This error is causing cause the .pcf files are missing. Did you at least change map ?
