If it is saying bad password, then your password is incorrect. If you have the password set on the server, try this command instead

amx_showrcon amxx plugins

Not necessarily-when I helped mullekurden with his server, even though I specified a rcon password in the server.cfg, it wouldn't work until I added it using GameCreate's control panel.

That is because his server wasn't using the server.cfg file. It was using port27015.cfg I believe.

Yeah, I know, I was using server.cfg generically. However, even when it was specified in the port27015.cfg, it didn't work. In fact, I put it in both the server.cfg and the port27015.cfg, just to be sure. It's probably still there, actually, but unless it's added through GameCreate's control panel, it doesn't work.
