The karma system wasn't perfect but it was very nice. Its was rewarding to receive a bunch of karma for making something new.

Plugins rating wouldn't compare. There's much more here than plugins. For me, one of the best posts here is this:

It's more easy to say "Thank you" than to give a karma. And karma is permanently attached to your profile.

I may not know any post of yours but, with karma, i will promptly know in the first post of yours that I see, your reputation.

If you have checked the first ordered pages by karma, you would have saw that almost every reputation in it was accurate in order to what the person produced here. Not to offend you but, you just can't talk about this since you haven't yet created a thread here. You don't know what merit means.

That is an hilarious assumption, which proves yet again that karma did more bad than good. FYI: there are more forums than Alliedmods.net and you don't have to create a thread to receive karma.

But anyway, I'm pretty much done with this silly subject, which, in my opinion, was invented for little children that have difficulties expressing themselves in a civilised way. No flame intended.

I'm not saying that you suck at coding or that you are not an "Infinitely Awesome" person. I'm saying that karma should be read according to what the person did here not with what the person is.

I can tell you for sure that if i go to a mapping forum i will never have a pleasant karma because i suck at mapping.

What about a system that you can only give karma , no reduct karma , so if you like a post +karma.
