Ok, so I was gonna format my pc today.
I uninstalled some programs like anti-viruses and programs that needs cd-keys.
But I was so smart to delete my cd-rom drive too.
Yes, I know, Im stupid.
So I cant even put in my windows recovery cd now.
When I put in a cd the pc just freezes.
Searching for program wares on controll panel doenst work either.

So anyone got any suggestions for me?
Else I have to send it in for reparation.

You can't "delete a cd rom drive". If the cd-rom drive is broken, then just get it replaced. If the computer isn't recognizing it, then you need to check your BIOS settings.

Yeh, I havnt "deleted" my cd rom drive, but I think I've in some kind of way removed the programware to read the cd's.
After I put in a cd the pc starts working, a "timeglass" gets next to my mouse, then it freezes.
So I have to restart it...
When I go to "Add Programware" on control panel, and try to repair the cd drive it says that everythings ok.

So how I check my "BIOS settings"?

Thanks for help!
Karma for you if I get it working.

You press a key when rebooting your computer. THe key is usually Delete. Once in there, don't mess with anything if you don't know what you're doing.

If you are trying to reformat your whole hard drive and start fresh, you dont need windows running you need to boot from your cd. If your BIOS boot the hard disk before the cd drive you need to change that. All BIOS are different so its not simple to tell you what to press. You need to watch your computer when it turns on before you see the windows loading screen. and it should say something like "Press ** to ....." and you press it and load you BIOS settings menu. then find boot order and put disc drive above hard drive. then boot from disc.
