Hi,

Im new to setting up a server and i just wanna know if its possible to set up a lan server with amxx on steam, and be able to play on it against bots.
I tried to do this and i got metamod working, but metamod doesnt load up amxx. Is this because it cant work on a lan server or is it a different problem?

a lan server is also called a listen server. If u look up top u will see a thing to fix ur listen server.

well u can run a dedicated lan server, but i guess thats kinda pointless

I tried what it said to do to fix my listen server. It still doesnt work. Metamod works but it doesnt load up amxx.

My plugins.ini is directly in the metamod folder and "win32 addons/amxx/dlls/amxx_mm.dll" is in it.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but amxx doesnt load up.

DONT USE THE QUOTES

SHOULD BE:
win32 addons/amxx/dlls/amxx_mm.dll

In my plugins.ini there are no quotes. I just put the quotes in my post to quote it. Sorry if it was confusing.

Why dont you just download the dedicated server program, with steam and run your server from there.. you wont run into as meny problems that way...

log on
in your listenserver.cfg, and paste here any informatiom from metamod

I'm using steam and I dont seem to have listenserver.cfg at all.
