If you are so hung up on CPU usage, maybe you should get a better CPU to run the server instead. A very old pentium III should be able to run a decent server without getting too much CPU load.

If you have issues, you are probably running it on something like commondore 64 or so, else it really wouldn't matter at all.

I would really love to just quote Yami but I see that you are unable to understand it.

It shouldn't be a significant difference.

About 1.8.2, guys, did you really think than amxx 1.8.2 have better CPU Usage than 1.8.1? (i am not fun, i am just want to opinion of elders)
Running only amx mod x and metamod on your server shouldn't even give 30% CPU load. My ancient server with a AMD dual-core 4800+ (2.4Ghz) runs my server with 0% CPU load, and that is really loaded with plugins and is running a heavy mod called superhero mod.

If you get so much CPU load, you might just want to change the CPU as it must be very. very, very, very, very, very, very old and very, very, very, very slow.

Without knowing the number of occupied slots and type of plugins comparing CPU usage is completely pointless. 0% CPU usage implies an empty server.

Yes, that you are right about. I was assuming it was 2 players. Where I got that from I really don't know.

That my old dual-core 4800+ can handle two of without I have to worry about CPU load.

And both servers have heavy high-traffic plugins on them.

Note to self:

When creating plugins it doesn't matter if they are efficient, as plugins doesn't take any CPU load at all.

Thank you.
