I have never seen gravity being an issue with tickrate, however i have used several methods to fix tickrate issues in l4d2 and i have to say any tickrate above 67 and you start to see problems needing a fix, who honestly needs a higher tickrate. I leave my server set at 67 and have zero bugs from tickrate requiring no hacky fixes whatsoever. Best thing you can do if you wanna keep a higher tickrate, test that gravity setting at 800(normal), then back at 750 to see if there really is an issue, but again...I wouldn't waste my time with a higher tickrate than 67, the problems introduced and the hacky solutions to fix them just simply aren't worth it imo.
