hi all,

i have a strange issue with my linux cs:s server : since the update related to steampipe, the server sometimes freeze (srcds is not crached but comes in time out and as it is not crashed, it never restarts... logs are then incompleted and console still exists in screen daemon, but seems to be paused). It can run for few hours full of players without any problem as it can freeze just 2 minutes after restarting... It happens with any map, i didn't already notice any special condition...
I already added -debug in command line hopping it could give me more informations about any event but there is no special logged information.

I run all of the last snapshots of mm1.10, sm1.5, cssdm, stripper...

Does anyone have already seen this kind of issue after the big steam update?

I think I had similar problem last night, when I tried to upgrade to latest snapshots of MM and SM. Had to go back to SM 1.5 832 and MM 1.10 832

Well i didn't make any special modification excepted updating sourcemod to hg3838 and mm 1.10 dev837.

It doesn't seem to freeze anymore...

Make sure your srcds is up to date!

change the folder name of addons to cancel out SM/MM problem.

If server doesn't freeze after the name change then one of the mods probably
causes this, if server does still freeze it might be hardware problem like heating up.

this fixed my public server. but my match server still having problem

Well up to this post cause the issue is coming back...
running sm 1.5.4 hg4030 and mm 1.10.1 hg884
randomly freeze the console ; manual reboot is needed...

i think it happens at player connection, but i'm not sure...

I think it happens when a new player has just joined a team...
running with sm 1.5.4 hg4036
