I used MariaDB with SourceBans-Fork-1.5.2F-dev-git198 (May 21, 2015) and it was working well so far. I just edited the page.banlist.php.

Did you change something else (in the plugin-part) that isn't compatible with MariaDB anymore? It has pretty much the same syntax than MySQL.

Edit: For changing the sm_sleuth_duration (because of dynamic ips) to like a day or a week, I need to recompile, right?
