Gubka did an amazing job changing some models in his Zombie plague plugin, so i'm sure someone could make a plugin like this.

I can imagine CSGO in few months with lots of custom mods and custom models!

Yeah, I tested the code used in his zombie plague plugin without the zombie plague dependency and works like a charm! surely is good idea make a separate plugin for add custom models (and not valve models), I can do it.

But no idea if valve will like it because I would not like make another plugin that valve will ban like happened with my weapon paints plugin xD (valve hate me )

Well the screenshot shown above uses model and skin which is not allowed.
I think only model change is allowed.

As i told Francisco in Steam, it won't be logic if Valve starts banning servers using different models, i mean, i can understand that they got pissed off with the Weapon paints plugin, since that's exactly what they sell, weapon paints, and this plugin was actually giving paints, which were oficial skins from Valve, to everyone... and for free.

But this? this can't be banned since you are remplacing the model, i can't imagine someone saying "Ahh fk it i have a bazooka now when i buy my awp, fk it im gonna sell my dragon lore for $300 fast" well, im sure some dumbass will do it, but anyway, you're changing the model of the gun, not adding a paint in anyway.

As i told you in Steam Fran, DO IT ! you'll make the CS:GO community servers GROW UP alot, this is another level since now you can do lots of things in mods like Paintball, SuperHero, just like in CS 1.6!

The real reasons of Valve getting pissed off is because of the some douchebag who edit the code of a 'innocent' plugin to do something forbidden by Valve, and they can do so 'cause the code would be extremly similar. That's it. I say do NOT do it, or we will have even more restriction on Valve games !

But, anyway, that's just my opinion.

Which restrictions could we have? it's ridiculous... if they start making restrictions because of that, do we need to say bye to Zombie mod? or any other mod which uses different models?

I think it won't happend, i think the community is paranoic because of what they've done with the weapon plugins (ban servers)

Francisco should go full with the idea of making a plugin to change weapon models!

In that case they should ban custom player models too... and why allow all of it in the first place?

And about the post on the picture yes it uses custom paint, but it is a custom model, VALVE doesn't own it. So I assume we can use custom paints too, which are not sold by valve.
