I was just wondering how does the ban work for the "illegal plugins".. I mean I have been on servers with the plugins that AREN'T banned so I was wondering if it is safe to use them on mine.

Those servers will be banned one way or another or will have to buy a new steam account etc. If you use them you are screwed
