First off, I apologise if I posted this in the wrong area and my complete noobness.

I just got my l4d server setup through Apoplexy Industries and so far they are fantastic. I have the standard 8 slots available on my server but need 2 more for spectators. I want these 2 extra slots available only to admins, I have talked with Apoplexy Industries about getting extra slots and they said I needed to send a request ticket for extra slots for l4d and I need the right plugins to support the extra slots in l4d.

Ok, I understand that.

Here are my questions:

*What plugins do i need to support extra slots?
*how do i make the slots available to only admins?
*do i install plugins before i send the request ticket? or after?

Once again, sorry for my lack of inteligence in this area. But we have to start somewhere.

You'll need the following (at least):
MetaMod
- SourceMod
-- L4D Downtown (supports up to 18 slots) http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=91132
--- Super Versus (Allows tweaking of versus settings) (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=830069)
-- Some other mod to allow spectators, I think. I use ready up (https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=747133) for this purpose, and turn off the other options. There could be a mod that does just spectate.

Edit: I suppose for your purpose, you don't need super versus, just l4d downtown should be good enough.

I have metamod and sourcemod installed on my server (guess i should have mentioned that)
Only, what is metamod for?
I got my admins set up and working just fine, im just unsure what exactly metamod is for.
Anyway, thanx for the links and descriptions, I will check them out.
