I have spent a long time try to search for what is probably an easy answer for someone who obivously knows (and I will probably feel very silly).

Basically I need to be able to control or add a chat command to trigger the MOTD screen, this statement used in the chat command needs basically the same as the default motd chat command, just a different statement.

Would it be possible to have two commands to launch the MOTD screen, such as the default chat commands: motd, help(for example).

I don't know if this should be a plugin, or there is code somewhere I can edit,
