I want to use this plugin as source and edit, add cvars and other options but i don't know if I can have some rights. It won't be copy-paste. I just realized that this is the best method of detecting AFK and i would like to use it. Also i would like to use the same cvar names like mp_afktime because they are thematic.
If it's needed i will add his name to credits for using his plugin as source.
And plugin's author is not active for 2 years on the forum, i don't think i could contact him someway.

Basicaly i can make it from 0 without looking in his code or copying it but i think people will say it's plagiarism.

So what should i do?

I don't know about the forum rules though, but a good example would be addons_zz' Galileo.

FYI there is already a better plugin, like CS AFK Manager. Don't waste your time if you're planning to release something. There are already several similar plugins.

You can take over the plugin, but you have to keep the original author(you can still add your name anyway). If the original author come back he has the right to take over the plugin again so you will "lose" your work.

But, there is already a good afk manager: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=2254236 so don't waste your time.

I wanted to add option to kill all afks instead of kick/spec transfer them if there are no non-afk players alive from the same team.

I don't need to be author. I can make update and hold the same person as author, i just want to share new option to people.
