Hello all, just joined the forum !

Ive just started looking into creating plugins for Metamod and I need help setting up the environment ( Ive looked at this tutorial here: https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Metamod:Source_Environment ).

It says to use Visual Studio. I'm wondering if I could use Code::Blocks as my IDE. If so, does anyone know how to set it up?

I know that Code::Blocks can import visual studio project files, but I dont know how to exactly set it up ( HL2SDK and all ).

I'm mainly looking to develop plugins for TF2 if that changes anything.

You need to use the MSVC compiler on Windows to maintain compatibility with the game.
