I'd assume with the latest update to SMAC that i no longer need rcon_locker since your plugin does the same thing...?

Just a quick question, should i use rcon_locker plugin or just use SMAC since it seems to do enough that i wouldn't need it but that's my two cents of information.

I'd also assume i don't need this plugin either.

Not saying these are useless plugins, i'm just asking if they have functionality SMAC already has so i don't have to install them.

Cheers, sorry if i missed a piece of information in documentation or the posts themselves.

You definitely don't need the rcon_locker plugin as of today's update.

This is an important feature and I'm going to add it to SMAC as well.

the original "any rcon password protect" never worked for me.
from hlsw, it would block the password from being seen but in game using the console it would not.

hope to see a working version in smac that blocks sm_cvar rcon_password from game console aswell.

After looking into it, I see that SourceMod already protects against this by blocking that command usage for anyone except root admins.

Code:
sm_cvar rcon_password
[SM] You do not have access to this cvar.

yes, that is for non admins, but the plugin "[Any] Rcon Password Protect" is blocking regular admins from checking the rcon_password (allthough the metioned plugin dosn't quite work anyway)
because admins are still able to check it with sm_cvar rcon_password if they have the correct flag for changing cvars.

it's just a question about keeping the rcon_password safe from other admins that have the SM rcon/cvar flag.

Nope, that is for admins with the CVAR flag that are attempting to access rcon_password. Non-admins get an "Access denied" message or something similar. Only admins with the ROOT flag can view the password.
