Sound Blocker


Description

This plugin allows you to block networked sounds by adding them to a configuration file. You can't block client side sounds such as weapon sounds (except for the knife). The config file allows you to block specific sounds for certain maps, or on all maps.


Usage

Place blockedsounds.ini in your configs directory. Add sounds like in the example. Use the "[all]" tag to block sounds on all maps.

// Sounds under this tag will always be blocked
[all] 
common/wpn_denyselect.wav

// All sounds under this tag are blocked on cs_italy
[cs_italy] 
ambience/Opera.wav

Nothing to say. Well just minor thing like "trim()" should be done before the check and you should add '//' as comment too.

EmitSound is not only used for players but also for ents (e.g. weapons).
You forgot fclose().

You are kidding me,right?I had EXACTLY the same idea,i made a plugin like this(not so well-written ofc) and i was planning to release it tomorrow!I also took the idea from this:
