To keep it simple...

I've uncapped the pounce damage of hunters on my server by editing the z_hunter_max_pounce_bonus_damage. I set it to 1000; the default is 25.

In the course of playing with my buddies, we tend to dick around, and sv_cheats gets turned on and off repeatedly throughout the night. The problem we're having is that when we set sv_cheats 0, z_hunter_max_pounce_bonus_damage resets back down to it's default value of 25, making subsequent pounces do little to no damage.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I'd love it if I could 'fix' the variable to a certain value and have it be completely unchangeable, but I imagine the solution would have more to do with how sv_cheats 0 operates.

Strip the cheatflag off of the cvar.
