Unfortunately No. Custom names Yes. But the colors dont work for me. SO I took them out. I took out the names as nobody uses them.

Crouching seems to make you model slide off ramps, many people have complained about this.

Any fix suggestions?

I figured out why I was having trouble with the chat colors, I'm assuming this is the problem for anyone else having that issue.

I never noticed the "ck_chat_enable" cvar that enables/disables ckSurf's chat processing. If you change this to 0 in your cfg/sourcemod/cksurf.cfg file, name and message colors work. Though there is a downside... commands like !r, !b, !s, etc....all show up in chat each time they are typed by players.

It would be awesome if one of the fellas working on a forked version could adjust the chat processing to not conflict with Zeph's Store/SCP use of name & message colors while still filtering surf !commands.

Can someone explain me please cause I searched for so long. Why when I make a start zone on a not supported map by the plugin, the speed cap doesn't work?

I mean I made it a cube (start zone) because without making it a cube the reset time (Stopped text) wouldn't appear unless you stay still, for example moving/jumping would just keep the timer going.

Ok that's that. But now, I want that when you pass the start zone it caps the speed, right now I can just bunnyhop and get to 1500 speed then just jump in start zone and then on the ramp with no problem. Config files are set to 320.00, but It doesn't work for when you're making your own start zones. Please help !!! I tried to find an answer but it seems no one have the problem ?

PS: You can bunnyhop with no problem in the start zone aswell.


PS2: I have few more questions so I will ask them here so I'm not spamming with other posts.

Can someone explain me how the ranking system work? For now it gives way too much points.
How can I change it? When you add a new map, can you refresh the points of the players so it will reduce the amount of points that players have , so it gets balanced for the new updated map pool?

What's the idea with the Stripper:Source? Which one should I get? I got the last one , the frist one , the git 124 one, pretty much tried 4-5 of them, but still felt no difference on surf_classics2 where players get stuck VERY bad in ramps, so I decided I would not add it , but I would like to, I felt I guess some changes on other maps, not sure if it's placebo or not.

1. speed cap will work once you make start zone and end zone (default 250)
2. make big cube on start so no one can abuse bunnyhops and get better speed. You will learn it after some zoneing and trying
3. ranking system is fine with giving points. (more maps ranking system changes)
- problem is with taking points, its buggy, hopefully nikoo77 or that other guy i forgot its name will fix that bug.

4. stripper is mostly used for fixing maps that crash server (most common one surf_pox) its powerfull plugin that can remove ANY entity from map, secrets, weapons, etc.etc.etc

Thanks destiny, well I still think that it gives a bit too much points but I guess that's because of not having a lot of playing in the tops I think.

Regarding zone colors and materials, am i able to change them to text or any other material? And where would i be looking for such a feature?
