cmd Name command is driving me Crazy help

Some of the Players in our Lan are not clean and they usually use command in their console cmd Name "Abuse the Server Name" they can change the name of the server any time and I can't caught them because my server never logs the details of a user who executed the cmd name command in their console.

I am here for your help guys please suggest any amx modx plugin or is there any trick that when they use these commands they will automatically banned or kicked from my Server please help me they are abusing me and my server name.

AFAIK name "ABUSE BLAH" changes the players name to "ABUSE BLAH."

Oh, and BTW, wrong forum *calls for Roach*.

FYI, the console command "name" does not change the server name in any way. The only way they can change the server name is by changing the cvar "hostname". So, don't give anyone on your LAN cvar or rcon access. Simple as that

I think wat he was trying to say that the player is changing their name to "Abuse the SERVER NAME" not the server name is changing.

I might giv it a try

If that is the case Crusher918, the OP should search the forums. There are at least 2 plugins that are either in the plugins section or the requests section that prevent the client from changing their name

Dear Friend You can try your self just create a listen server and play with your friends and ask from your friend that just go to the console and type cmd name "I am Blah Blah ABUSE Word" and Your will see the player name of the Host renamed just because the client used the command "cmd" before the name Command I hope this will clear your thinking.

I will be very thank ful to you guys for posting replies but please suggest the plugin name which will restrict the clients to change the admin name in listen server and restrict them to use the cmd command.
