Hi, I am hosting a non_dedicated server through HLDS on my current home PC.

It works ok with a few people on and rcon commands work a treat.

Installed amx mod and have set up the user.ini with the "(my steam id)" "" abcdefghijklmnopqrstu" "ce"

etc

When I start my server and try a amx command such as amx_csay it says I dont have rights to that command (or something like that

Any ideas? (rcon commands work fine)

Ok got it working

realised I needed rcon amx_csay (text)

Whoops!

Anyway now I am wondering once I have typed that in should I be able to see it (the text along the center of screen) along with the others on the server?

because atm I dont see it but it registers on the console and accepts it.

That happens to me sometimes. When I enter a say command, sometimes only the other people see it, but you don't.

And you shouldn't need to always use rcon.
