I guess you wrong understood my question. It was if the way is reliable(i.e. is a proper way of solving the problem), not if it is possible. You only need to register the library, based on some accesible symbol on such library (or address if you get one).

Then you can do the same stuff as with engine or game dll.

We might create a plug-in called "AMX Mod X Hooker" or something.
