wickedd I tried updating amxx but it's breaking older plugins that the server needs. AMXX 1.8.3 3918 is the newest version I can use. I tried using the Geoip 1.3 module include file and the code will now compile, but on the server it says bad load.

I am also having trouble installing the GeoLite2 City, I downloaded the binary which is a .gz file with a tar-2 file inside. Then inside the tar-2 file is the GeoLite2-City.mmdb which can't be uploaded to my windows server through filezilla, which says could not start transfer.

You should be able to upgrade but if you can't don't worry about it. You can use the GeoIP module.

If you can't upload it, then you will not be able to kick them by state.

P.S. I didn't have any problems uploading it my servers.


Edit: If you don't want to upgrade, just replace the geoip module that was included with AMXX with the one in your first post.
Then you will need to install GeoLite2 City and GeoLite2 Country in the data folder.
