Would it be possible for you guys to make it please?
You could use a model manager plugin and just create a custom model that uses the bone structure of the character you want but replace the physical model itself. Best idea I can come up with.

You'd need custom models for all animswaps you would want. 8*8=64, (assuming that I can indeed math and that is the correct calculation) 64 different downloaded models, for just one plugin feature. No thanks.

You could also attach a model to the player t--wait, can't do that either.

You can switch a player's class in tf without changing their items, but it results in crashes more often than not. When it does not, they get hats and such like snipers with miniguns and toques or whatever the heavy had on. You cannot switch animations. Each model has different bones, attachment points, and animation sets. Although many models share bone names, they are oriented differently. This may be most noticable with attatchment weapon bones. Bone animation in games works by assigning bone weights to each vertex on the model. These values are compiled into the model. Animation sets or sequencs just set where the bones will move anyway.

Best solution is try the crashy method of switching their class, thn items, and find out which crash, and remove crashy items or disable crashy classes. My money is on spies and medics.
