Is there a way to allow clients to set what they see (of goremod) locally?

I've gotten a request for this a few times.

Basically some people just don't want to see the blood, for some unknown reason, I find it makes the game somewhat more realistic, cuz last I checked when you get shot it's not normally just a little puff of blood...

Hi linux admins,

So how does this mod run on linux server? Specifically 66tick linux servers?

Has this plugin caused any lag for players? Any more network overhead than usual? CPU utilization higher than usual?

This is an interesting mod, but I want to make sure it won't kill my box.

Hi,

i have a linux ( suse 9.2 ) and running the latest goremod with tick66 and 24 players.

no problem at all - we have a dual opteron 2,4ghz with 2048ram ...

how many slots you have and what a system ?

I have a dual 2.8GHZ Xeon with 2 gigs of ram.

66 tick 34 player server
66 tick 18 player server
66 tick 10 player server

The 10 player is a cal match server, so I won't be using this mod on that of course. The 34 and 18 player servers is where I plan on running this mod.

You should have no problems with this machine. But i dont know if ALL slots are filled... i would test it only on the 34 slot server.

why did you make the body explosing when killed by Headshot ? it's is not realistic... you should correct it... but HE explotion are great lol !

You can disable it, it was requested.
I dont personaly like it either, but hey, each to their own.

It was an optional setting (defaulted to on) on the old goremod. That's why I requested it.
