i have a problem with "tried to creat a message with a bogus..." too
i am running opposing force windows
the error only comes when a plugin uses the show_motd funtion (e.g /top15, /statsme ...)

i am not running the newest version of opfor
yes it would fix the problem but in the newest version the command kill does not work and so slay command do neither
and i need this command as i have scripts which uses slay

when i install opfor and patch to newest version
or use steam and start opfor
the kill command is not working

My server freezes with metamodx installed and twice as fast with
amxx on top. The server doesnt even crash it just completely locks
up and you have to use ctrl +c to kill it. Server freezes within 2 hours
of being up, I need soem seroius help. Im Def not switching to
WIN2k3 !!! Server runs for 1 week without a crash As Plain Vanilla.
Same problem with metamod 1.17 and amx 0.9.8. and same
problem in 1.6 as well. This all started serveral months ago from a
steam update and has gotten much worse over time. The server
cant evev run stable for half of the day now.

Condition Zero Linux Server
Slackware 9.1 on 2.6.5 kernel, tried with amd cpu flags and i686
flags in kernel. Tried 2.4.24 too
AMD Thunderbird 1.4Ghz (super cooled even
1gb ram
scsi 160
libc 2.3.2
amxx 0.16

also tried:
metamod 1.17 valve compiled
amx 0.9.8 reg and optimized binary.

If your server is getting this error Tried to create a message with a bogus message type ( 0 )

Thats a plugin trying to send a game message to the server, which results in a crash.

The main cause of this is mainly due to using for(i = 0, i < 33; i++) to get the amount of players then send the game message to them all. There needs to be an additional check to make sure that i = alive (is_user_alive(i))
